One of the best neighbours I could have ever asked for. Ken and his wife Sandra treated me like family from the moment I moved in. They made me feel so welcome. Ken, you and Sandra treated my children like your own grand-children. You are one in a million. I miss your cheeky sense of humour and your all round kindness. We will all miss you. xxx

Ken was always good to me, from when I was a young man, fun times staying at the pub up at 5 Lane ends...Always had time for Zak and Terriann, will be sadly missed by us all....x

My memories i remember of my dad, is when we lived in the mansionette, n we had family times round the table on a night time, & he taught me how to play Yahzee, n sometimes Dominos, how i miss those days.. I miss seein his smiling face everyday when i pop over the road for my brew, i will miss you everyday, thankyou for being there n watchin me grow up, & thankyou for being my dad.. RIP DAD.. Adele..

I remember Ken giving me the nickname of Olive off the buses as he said I looked like her, wasn't happy but could see a resemblance, cheers Ken. I also nicknamed him John Wayne. R.I.P Ken and condolences to Aunty Sandra and family xx
